Portable Receiving System
The Portable Receiving System uses commonly found electronics in conjunction with Pisces Decoder for Android™ in order to manually track transmitters in the field. This setup also includes data logging capabilities.
The Orion receiver is a wide-band, data logging device, which is programmable to switch between multiple 1MHz channels. There is also an antenna switching module upgrade available.
MITAS is a receiving system that synchronizes up to 50 Orion receivers to a single host server. This centralized database updates in real time, and is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Alarms and status reports are optionally sent to users via email allowing rapid response to outages. Places where Biologists need several receiver locations that are difficult to manage individually due to quantity and/or distance is where MITAS performs best.
